This object is located in an iconic location - on Kutuzovsky Prospekt, in the elite residential complex Kutuzovsky XII. The residential complex is inspired by Italian palazzos and Soviet neoclassicism, so the interior of the apartment that we will talk about organically fits into the overall surroundings.

The residential complex is inspired by Italian palazzos and Soviet neoclassicism, so the interior of the apartment that we will talk about organically fits into the overall surroundings.
The designer and I had a very specific task:
Create a comfortable, classic interior for a respected lady. Please note that this is not the first project that we are implementing for this customer (the first was the project in the Tricolor residential complex).
The apartment we worked on this time is quite spacious and includes an entrance hall, a guest bathroom, a kitchen-living room, a corridor to the bedroom, which also serves as a dressing room, a master bedroom and a master bathroom.
Engineering content, as always, to the highest standard
However, if in electrical terms everything is quite familiar for our projects (high-quality electrical and low-current panels, an abundance of pass-through switches), then plumbing and heating posed the task a little more interesting.
Initially, the apartment had two pairs of stainless steel risers, which, by the way, were well made (which, I must say, we saw for the first time). We ended up plugging one pair, since the apartment is intended for one person to live in, that is, the water consumption will be small. That is why there was no point in spending extra money on an additional water facility.
The pipe connections from the developer were made using a Geberit press fitting system. In those places where the risers were plugged, we cut off the pipe and pressurized everything again, thereby creating a straight section. Now the water treatment unit is located in the guest bathroom and powers all consumer appliances.
Wooden floor-to-ceiling windows imposed certain heating features: we had to select in-floor convectors, the choice was Varmann. They are more productive than convectors from the developer, but at the same time they fit into the allocated power.
The apartment has ducted air conditioning.
It was not possible to change the existing system, so we worked with materials from the company chosen by the developer. The house also has an exhaust ventilation system, so all we had to do was install air ducts throughout the apartment. In addition, at the request of the customer, we added an air humidification function.
We installed sound insulation on the ceiling and on the wall adjacent to the neighbor's apartment in the bedroom. All lamps are equipped with soundproof boxes.
As is typical for classics, the design involves a lot of stucco decoration made of plaster - cornices, moldings, drafts. It was this nuance that made us sweat over painting, because all the stucco decor is painted separately from the walls. In addition, in the kitchen-living room the painting is done in two levels (lighter and darker gray).
This technique gives the room additional volume, but at the same time complicates the painting work, because the colors should not mix or overlap each other.
