This project combined aesthetics and technology: the design by Olga Rudakova used many textures and interesting techniques, and one of the main technical requests was a stable and secure home Internet connection.

Let's start in order.

As we have already said, the designer and I had to make friends between aesthetics and practicality. For example, to optimize the length of water supply routes, we installed two water treatment units. One was placed in a technical niche in the corridor, and the second was in the master bathroom. As a result, water is correctly distributed to consumers and it does not have to travel the length of the entire apartment.

The facility also has a supply ventilation and air conditioning system with additional air filtration. Inspection hatches (and there are 5 of them at the facility) were tried to be located in the most inconspicuous places, for example, in the dressing room. Soundproofing of the ceilings is provided in the children's and bedroom rooms. Also, sound insulation is mounted on the wall bordering the neighbors. All for the peace of mind of our customers!

Electrics as standard:

Many lighting groups, sockets and switches have been installed. The electrical and low-current panels are hidden behind a cabinet in the hallway. By the way, since we had to satisfy the request for stable Internet, we used more professional equipment from Mikrotik, Ubiquiti, Cisco.

All this affected both the volume of the shield and its cost (more details on how to organize a secure and stable Internet connection are in this video).

Let's move on to the aesthetic component of the apartment. Olga’s projects always present an extravaganza of finishing materials, and everything is always perfectly combined with each other.

In the hallway, the entrance door and part of the walls are lined with veneer panels. To visually expand the space, a full-length mirror is mounted here. For reasons of practicality, the flooring in this area is porcelain stoneware with imitation natural stone from Italon.

An office adjoins the hallway:

These rooms are separated by a glass partition with a hinged door. Corrugated glass allows daylight to penetrate into the hallway and plays beautifully in the light. To ensure privacy in the office, the room has thick curtains to match the walls. Wall decoration - painting, Belgian wallpaper and mirrors. Moreover, one of the mirrors with a surprise is a hidden door to the bedroom.

On the opposite side of the office, a small corridor adjoins the hallway, which underwent changes during the work on the project. Initially, the guest bathroom was planned to be wider, and the corridor, accordingly, narrower. But the customer expressed a wish that he wanted more space in the common area, so we replayed everything a little.

The guest bathroom is made in light colors; a lot of lighting is also used here, which adds a feeling of “air”. By the way, everything is not only beautiful, but also, of course, practical. For example, the mirror lighting is turned on by the movement of the hand; a night light with a motion sensor 100 mm from the floor is provided under the frame; cornice lighting is organized.

The main finishing is porcelain stoneware and artificial stone. Perhaps the most unusual detail of this bathroom is a special hole in the wall for the cat, so that the pet always has free access to the litter box. We can say that the apartment turned out to be truly pet-friendly!

The kitchen-living room is a single space with an area of 33 m².

During the renovation process, this area also underwent minor changes: the TV area was moved. By the way, the Samsung The Frame TV is installed flush with the wall.

The ceiling is lowered under the kitchen unit so that everything looks seamless.

From the kitchen you can access the loggia, which we insulated and installed sliding doors that perfectly block the cold air.

Next to the kitchen-living room there is a children's room. A distinctive feature of the rooms is the abundance of storage systems, which are divided into three parts: a coffee-colored wardrobe (with veneer inserts), bookcases and a mezzanine and two light yellow shelves. The built-in cabinets have lighting installed and ventilation is provided. On the walls there is English Cole & Son wallpaper with moldings.

The desk top is covered with plexiglass to avoid damage while the owner of the room is still actively making crafts. In general, the interior is designed so that it can be easily transformed as the child grows up.

Next along the corridor is the master block, which consists of a dressing room/laundry room, a master bathroom and a master bedroom.

As you understand, the dressing room is not simple: it combines the functions of a utility room, passage to the master bathroom and master bedroom. To expand the space, a mirror cloth and lighting in wardrobe systems using motion sensors were used. Among the interesting details: it is through the wardrobe that the revision to the bathtub is implemented.

In terms of finishing, in general, everything is quite standard: the walls are painted (the paint behind the washing and drying machines is moisture-proof), and a mirror is also mounted opposite the wardrobe system. Master bathroom. The decoration uses textured porcelain tiles imitating slate, one of the walls is made of accent relief tiles.

The main feature of the room, which you are unlikely to come across, is TV. It is mounted on a swivel bracket opposite the toilet, so you can turn the TV and enjoy the series while taking a bath.
