Input data
We were faced with the task of creating a neutral but stylish interior that could be easily “refreshed” with decor and bright textile accents, since at the time of the start of the renovation the question of whether this would be a property for rent/sale or for one’s own use remained open. At the same time, one of the main principles was the use of quality materials and engineering, as well as optimization of the budget where possible.
Concept and layout
In design, the choice fell on the style of minimalism. The basis of the interior is neutral white color, correct geometry, and natural wood texture. To add brightness, we used terracotta elements in the decor, especially in the bedroom.
In such a seemingly small area, we managed to place an entrance hall, a bathroom, a kitchen-dining room, a bedroom and even a separate dressing room at the entrance. Having given preference to a separate dressing room, we got rid of the need for additional cabinets in this area, since the storage is arranged in a separate room and hidden from prying eyes. In addition, we have provided built-in shelves in the niches. To do this, it was necessary to prepare these same niches at the stage of erecting the partitions.
Engineering
As we have already written, the engineering part is something that we did not skimp on in this project, since these components will remain in the apartment for a long time. The finish can be changed, but replacing rough elements is a much more complex, time-consuming and expensive process, so if you do it, it will be done immediately with high quality.
The apartment has a riser heating system, and to be sure of its quality, we digested the risers from the developer. The pre-installed radiators were replaced with radiators from KZTO (Russian manufacturer).
